Godot4 - Myfirstanimatedcharacter
This game is not designed to run on your device. Add it to a collection to play later, or you can try to run it anyway.
WASD to move.
Modelling, animating, and rigging my (first ever) controllable player character. All assets including animations made by me.
- Very simple character modelling but used a 2D reference to model a low poly humanoid shape
- Built an Armature for the model so that is could be animated
- Built an Idle animation and Run cycle in Blender that seemlessly looped
- Inserted the character into Godot 4 and set up movement controls
- Tied the camera to the player character
- Tied the animations to the player movement
