WASD to move.

Modelling, animating, and rigging my (first ever) controllable player character. All assets including animations made by me.

  • Very simple character modelling but used a 2D reference to model a low poly humanoid shape
  • Built an Armature for the model so that is could be animated
  • Built an Idle animation and Run cycle in Blender that seemlessly looped
  • Inserted the character into Godot 4 and set up movement controls
  • Tied the camera to the player character
  • Tied the animations to the player movement
